About Us

Founder's Story

I didn't set out to start a company. I set out to figure out why mental health treatment keeps failing people.

During residency, I kept seeing the same pattern: patients would improve with treatment, then plateau or regress. We'd switch medications, try new therapies, but we were always reacting—never predicting, never adapting in real-time.

The problem wasn't the treatments. It was our model. We were treating mental health like a fixed problem when it's actually a continuous, adaptive process shaped by every interaction and experience.

I started building a framework to model longitudinal mental health development—how people actually change over time. And then I realized: this isn't just a clinical tool. This is a fundamentally different way to build AI.

What if you could create systems that learn continuously from experience, the way humans do? Not retrained on massive datasets, but adapting in real-time based on interaction?

That question became Elaria. I filed a provisional patent, incorporated as an LLC, and started building. I'm finishing residency and entering practice in July 2026, but I'm not doing this halfway. Elaria is what I'm committed to for the long term.

Right now, it's just me and an idea with serious potential. I'm looking for the founding engineer who wants to turn that potential into reality.
